At Denmark's 17th leading design and marketing award, Creative Circle Award, Danske Bank’s iPad app, which In2media has helped to design and develop, was attributed with gold. The app was launched in early December 2011 as the first iPad online banking solution in Denmark and went straight to no. 1 in the App Store. The users’ reviews have been extremely positive and now the sharpest minds within marketing, communication and design are honouring the app for being a groundbreaking solution that sets completely new standards for online banking. Only 7 other campaigns, design or digital solutions received gold, thus making the iPad app one of the most important contributions over recent years within the agency industry in Denmark.
The iPad app has also received international renown as it has been awarded a mobile FWA, which is an award all within the digital agency industry strive to win. Through more than 10 years some of the world leading digital agencies has posted and won some of the best digital campaigns and solutions ever out there. Since 2005 In2media has been awarded a FWA 8 times.
Danske Bank has, first with mobile banking and most recently with the tablet banking, initiated a larger movement, where banks want to position themselves right at the front when it concerns rethinking and revolutionising online banking, which customers have taken to on a large scale over the last 10 years. The movement is both about rethinking the navigational and visual expressions, but also about introducing brand new and smarter functions and services. These new principles will continuously be introduced across all channels, and will therefore ensure that Danske Bank offers the best and most modern form of online banking across Scandinavian and European markets.
